Edward W. Brooks, 64 of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Glenn Arbor Hospice in Battle Creek, Michigan. Ed worked out of the Plumber and Pipefitters Local 333 in Battle Creek and retired in 2006. He loved working outdoors in the yard, classic cars, and going to car shows. Ed enjoyed watching old westerns and playing his guitar. He loved his dog Demi. He shared two children with Carol Brooks; Chad (Jacki) Brooks and Traci (Chase) Kaniewski; brothers, Dennis and Jeff Brooks; sisters, Martena (Brian) Blum and Gayle Warner; 7 grandchildren; and his partner in life of 19 years, Karen Toole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Joyce Brooks. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
