Barbara Lou Porter, 71, of Eldon passed away, Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on January 9, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert Evans and Dorothy Eads. For over 17 years Barbara worked for and managed the local Casey’s General Store where she made many lasting friendships. Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, crafting, crocheting, going to garage sales and thrift stores. Most of all, she loved making memories with her daughter, grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter; DeAnna Kay (Brandin); sister: Sue King; grandchildren: Danielle Porter, Christina Porter, Josh Porter, Cole Porter, Christopher King and Bobbi Porter; and many great-grandchildren. Barbara is preceded in death by her significant other: Charlie Deppe; sons: Danny and Robert Porter; siblings: Kenny, Becky, Fred, and Mike Eads. Family and Friends will be received on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Millard-Rekus Funeral Chapel with Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Family of Barbara Lou Porter.
