William’s Obituary Dillon William “Ted” Cary Watts, 80, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 at McLeod Medical Center in Florence after an illness. Born in Robeson County, NC, on November 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Glinston Allen Watts and Mable Hannah Brigman Watts. He was a professional salesman and loved selling at the flea market and going to auctions He was of the Presbyterian faith. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, brother and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Phyllis Watts of their home in Dillon; sons, Randy Watts (Wanda) of Statesboro, GA, Timothy Watts of Gastonia, NC, Dale Watts (Robin) of Sumterville, FL, David Watts (Shelly) of Matthews, NC, Chris Watts of Midland, NC; a daughter, Amanda Spaulding of Summerfield, FL; brother, Allen Watts of Dillon; sister, Sandra (Darryl) Brown of Laurinburg, NC; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; his canine companions, Scrappy & Tara. Funeral services will be held 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Greenlawn Perpetual Care Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 P.M.
