Life is but a Stopping Place Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what’s to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay… Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey’s quicker, For some the journey’s slow. And when the journey finally ends, We’ll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord. Sympathies message

  1. Susan Hye was a wonderful teacher. I remember how compassionate she was towards her students. She even had a “starving student” drawer in her desk which had a stash of food. I was a student of hers at Stagg High School and I was having major home life problems and she was the only comfort I had at that time. This was 15 years ago and I never forgot what a kind soul she was. RIP Mrs. Hye. I always wanted to tell you that you inspired me to become a teacher and I wish I could have told you sooner. Thank you. You are forever in my heart.
