Obituary Cary Jay Simpson Sr. Entered into the presence of God on July 11, 2020 Cary was born in Boston, MA on August 11, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Louise Simpson. Cary moved with his family outside of Pittsburgh, PA to the town of Monroeville, PA when he was a young boy. He graduated from Gateway High School in Monroeville in 1971. In 1976 He graduated from Edinburgh College with a Bachelors in Psychology. Cary was a long time employee with HSBC and Capital One, where he was an account specialist. He also had his own business where he was a licensed life insurance agent. Cary did a small stint in the US Navy and received an Honorable Discharge. Cary loved the Pittsburgh Steelers (he bled gold!) He enjoyed watching football with his wife, it was a house divided since she is a Panthers fan. He enjoyed playing and watching golf, swimming, throwing the ball for his fur baby Marla and joking around with his grandkids. Cary is survived by his loving wife of almost 10 years, Barbara Hall-Simpson. His son, Cary Jay Simpson JR (Leslie). His Step-daughter, Heather Hall (Erin). He is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth Simpson (Beverly), Barry Simpson (Kathi), Scott Simpson (Magella), Craig Simpson (Donna). His sister, Pamela Simpson-Hastings (Tom), 6 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, his furbaby Marla and so many close friends. Cary touched many lives with his kindness and humor. He will be dearly missed. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel is assisting the family.
