He was the only son and youngest child with two adoring older sisters, Veronica and Patrice. Vincent grew up in Washington DC with his family providing a mature environment. He developed a zest for reading and a love of music. He was especially fond of learning historical information. Wise beyond his years, Vincent was an articulate orator as well as an attentive listener. He enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge with his friends and social media provided him with the opportunity to share his enthusiasm about history, social science, and music with numerous “friends.” He was considered by all to be “A Gentle Spirited Brother.” Being a ferocious reader, Vincent matriculated through school with relative ease. He graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in 1985 and from Howard University in 1990 with a BA Degree in History. These accomplishments garnered him teaching positions in the Prince Georges County, MD Public School System and in the District of Columbia. Devoting his life to education, Vincent enjoyed working with his students and they were an important part of his life. He was well respected and valued by them. As a spiritual individual, Vincent was always ready to learn more about the different religious philosophies to better his relationship with God. He was blessed with the ability to embrace the similarities and incorporate certain aspects of each into his life. Vincent was kindhearted, and a good listener, always putting others needs before his own. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patrice Thomas Jalloh. Family members who will perpetuate and preserve the uniqueness of his journey, as well as rejoice in his memory, include his sister and brother-in-law, Drs. Veronica and John Bedeau, brother-in-law, A.B Jalloh, niece and nephew, Danielle and Jon-Paul, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Arrangements by J.B. Jenkins Funeral Homes, Inc.
