Robert Kauhimakakuokalani Napeahi, Jr. May 24, 1936 – May 27, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Card Robert Kauhimakakuokalani Napeahi, Jr., 84, of Keaukaha, Hilo, HI, died at home on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. He was born in Waiakea, Hilo, HI and was a retired truck driver with the former HT & T. He was also a 1955 graduate of St. Joseph High School, a member of the Keaukaha Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, an active member in the community with athletic activities, softball coach for Hilo High School, member of the Senior Citizen Softball League, member of the Hilo Bay City Semi-Pro Football League, and served in the Hawaii National Guard. Private services to be held. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr. and Abbie Napeahi, son, Darius R. Napeahi, brother, Moses K. Napeahi, and is survived by his: Wife, Roselani Kalua Napeahi of Hilo, HI; Son, Joseph (Wanda) Napeahi of Kahuku, Oahu, HI; Daughters, Lynette (Aubrey) Auna of Keaukaha, Hilo, HI, Terri Napeahi of Keaukaha, Hilo, HI, Laures Napeahi-Ulep of Keaukaha, Hilo, HI and Kim Kuikahi of Keaukaha, Hilo, HI; Brother, Jack (Carol) Napeahi of Panaewa, Hilo, HI; Sisters, Roberta K. Howard of Walnut Creek,, CA, Helen (Red) Napeahi of Siera Vista, AZ and La Cher (Michael) Napeahi-Forcum of Milolii, HI; Uncles, Kahoaliiokalani Calles of Keaukaha, Hilo, HI and Kalani Calles of Panaewa, Hilo, HI; 16 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews.
