ROBERT’s Obituary ROBERT LEE “CHUBBY” NEAL, age 75, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Monday, May 4, 2020, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Neal was born in Belivdere, Tenn., to the late Ollie Willie Neal and Rosie Nell Stovall Neal on December 12, 1944. Mr. Neal attended the Mt. Olivet Church in Estill Springs. He was employed at the former Wagner Corp. in Tullahoma as a fork lift operator from it’s opening in 1981 until it’s closing in 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening before becoming unable to do so. Mr. Neal was known as the “family comedian”. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 38+ years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Neal was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Vann Young. He is survived by his wife, Gwen of Estill Springs, brother, Felix Neal and wife, Peggy of Estill Springs, sisters; Pauline Young of Nashville Barbara Jones and husband, Kenneth of Decherd, Joanne Hulsey of Lexie Cross Roads Community, Step-daughter, Amanda Gipson, Grandsons, Kenney & Kris Gipson and a host of Nieces and Nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 5, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Estill Springs with Bro. Brent Fuller, officiating.
