Richard Lee “Rich” McKee, 62, of Wapakoneta, died Wed. May 27, 2020, at his home. He was born Jan. 11, 1958, in Kenton, OH, the son of George Lee & Phyllis Jean (Reel) McKee. His mother, Phyllis Rogers survives in Kenton, and his father is deceased. Other survivors include, a son, Stormy Lee (fiancée- Haley Jones) McKee, Wapakoneta, 2 granddaughters, Anna Marie & Adalynn Jade McKee, a brother, Timothy Goo (Sonya) McKee, Bellefontaine, OH, a niece, Stevie McKee, Bellefontaine, OH, and his four legged friend, Tiger. Rich retired from the Ohio Decorative Products, Spencerville, OH. He also trained horses. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Ohio National Guard. Rich was a member of the V.F.W., Post # 9289, St. Marys, OH. He adored his granddaughters, and enjoyed playing the guitar and writing music. With consideration to current health guidelines, a Celebration of Rich’s Life will be 4:00 p.m., Fri. June 5, 2020, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. The family will receive family and friends 2-4 p.m., Fri. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to a Go-Fund Me account in Richard’s name.
