Lucey, age 66, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the husband of Verna (Briand) Lucey, who he met 16 years ago at a parrot show. Peter was born in Flushing Heights, NY to the late Harold and Marie (Eager) Lucey. He earned his master’s degree in accounting and was employed as a C.P.A. most of his life. Peter enjoyed his parrots, NASCAR and British comedy shows. Besides his loving wife of 13 years, he is survived by his beloved sister, Ellen Horan of Fall River; his four beloved nieces, Molly, Bridget, Abigail and Emily Horan; his dog, Molly and cat, Sophie. Due to the current restrictions implemented by Gov. Baker and the Diocese of Fall River in response to the Coronavirus outbreak, Peter’s funeral service will be private for the Immediate Family only. Arrangements are entrusted with the Boule Funeral Home, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA. Please offer your condolences or a memory of Peter in our guestbook. Print Obituary
