Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Othella Stephens Chandler 94 passed away Friday May 22 2020 in Amarillo TX Services will be held at 200 PM on Friday May 29 2020 at the Dalhart Church of Christ with Clay Lobley Dalhart Church of Christ officiating burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery – Horizon is directing the Service Othella Stephens was born October 29 1925 in Girard TX to Aggie A and Lola Fuston Stephens Othella graduated for Abernathy High School in 1942 and married Eldon “Slim Chandler on March 31 1945 in Lubbock TX – They moved to Dalhart in 1955 Othella retired as Chief Dispatch for Dalhart Police Department Othella was an award-winning artist in oil pastels and watercolors she was an avid craft person who dabbled in ceramics & porcelain dolls Othella’s paintings have been displayed all over Texas and New Mexico She is survived by 1 son Victor D Chandler and his wife Jan of Dalhart TX – 2020.
