Nola Faye Rapp, age 88, of Abingdon, Virginia, formerly of Bradshaw, WV, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 in an Abingdon, Virginia nursing home following a lengthy illness. She was born in West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Lum and Vergie Stewart Mullins. She had made her home in the Bradshaw, WV area most of her life and was the former assistant manager at the Ben Franklin in Bradshaw, WV. She attended the Abingdon Bible Church in Abingdon, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard “Buss” Rapp; son, Jeffrey Keith Rapp; Grandson, Christopher Joseph Rapp; and sister, Lola Wimmer. She was the last surviving member of the immediate family. Survivors are: Son: Dr. Carl Steven Rapp and wife, Mary of Abingdon, Virginia Grandson: Steven Matthew Rapp Funeral services for Nola Faye Rapp will be conducted Monday, June 1, 2020 at 12pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Dr. Paul Bufford officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
