Marsha Renee Frye, of Bland, Missouri passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, February 21, 2020, at the age of 53. Marsha was born August 27, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri to Marshall Johnson, and Linda (Chaney) Johnson Holt. Miss Marsha Renee Johnson was united in marriage to Christopher Frye in June of 2004. Marsha was an avid outdoors person. she loved riding 4-wheelers, camping, and fishing; she especially loved when they lived at the lake and she was able to catch supper for she and Chris. Marsha also enjoyed planning her little garden each spring, and sharing the bounty of her labor with family and friends, she also had a lot of blackberry bushes that she also picked from each summer; she was a people person, and a caretaker, she was that person that would give you the shirt off her back if she knew you needed it. She will be greatly missed by her family, and anyone that knew and loved her. Marsha Renee Frye is survived by her beloved husband of 16 years, Christopher Frye, of the home; mother, Linda Holt and step-father, Jim Holt, of St. James, MO; step-sister, Stacy McCulloch and husband Justin, of Wardsville, MO. She was preceded in death by her father Marshall Johnson. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020, at Flags Springs Cemetery with Pastor Frank Brooks officiating. Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested and greatly appreciated to the family to help with funeral expenses.
