Margaret Eubank Darnell (95) of Columbus went to heaven on May 30, 2020 at Hospice in Columbus, Indiana. Margaret was born February 28, 1925, in Louisville Kentucky. Margaret worked for the BCSC in the cafeteria from 1976-1997. Margaret spend 25 years working at the Columbus Skating Rink. She was member of Bethel Baptist Church. Margaret was married to the late John E Darnell June 26, 1948. They moved to Columbus in 1950. Margaret’s children include. Mary Darnell Monroe (Bob), Linda Darnell Sabatino, Jan Darnell, Jay Darnell (Karen). Margaret has over 50 Grandchildren/Great Grandchildren/Great Great Grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Margaret Eubank, her husband John Darnell. her sister Christine Nevitt and her son Ted Darnell (Susan). Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2020 at the funeral home. Margaret will be laid to rest at the Bethel Baptist Cemetery next to her husband, John Darnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
