He served in the United States Army. On September 12, 1957, he was united in marriage to Vera Margaret Shemwell. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2005. Mr. McDaniel died on Thursday, May 21, 2020, in Dexter, MO, at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 21 days. Survivors include 3 sisters; Rendy McDaniel Ellis and husband Burthill, Gertrude McDaniel Jones and husband Leon, Mary McDaniel Fears and husband Like; 1 brother; Edward McDaniel and wife; nephew; Jake Hayse; great nephew, Joshua Arena; nieces, Carolyn Wren Arena, Diane Wren Trimble, Debbie Wren Perkins and husband, Ken, Nancy Hubbard Pashea and husband, David; Tony Arena and wife Sue; great nieces and nephews and their spouses; great great nieces and nephews; cousins and of host of other relatives and friends.
