Jeremy Wade Cale, of St. James, Missouri, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 21, 2020, at the age of 40. Jeremy was born in Columbia, Missouri on January 4, 1980 to Floyd Cale, and Barbara Fredenall Hayden Cale. Jeremy was a graduate of John F. Hodge High School in St. James, Missouri, class of 1998. He was a avid outdoors man, he loved fishing, and being around the water; he enjoyed being with friends, and sharing life experiences around the bonfire; a natural people person, Jeremy never knew a stranger, and never once, was he not, the first person there when a friend needed a hand. He was an electrician by trade, but could work on and repair just about any small engine he could get his hands on, he love to “tinker” and take apart and fix weed eaters, chain saws, and lawn mowers. He also enjoyed planning and planting a summer garden, his dogs, but mostly the time that he could spend with family and friends. He was loving father, son, brother, and friend to all, and will be forever missed by everyone that knew and loved him. Jeremy Wade Cale is survived by his daughter, Courtney Cale, of Columbia, MO; father, Floyd Cale, of St. James, MO; mother, Barbara Cale, and step-father Steve Asmussen, of St. James, MO; brother, Nathan Hayden, of Kansas City, MO; girlfriend, Sue Doskal; a host of extended family and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the St.James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Chuck Ray officiating, and Richard Fredendall doing the eulogy. Internment will follow at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens in Rolla, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Chapel on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5-8PM.
