Gayle P. DeSantis, 77, of Old Bridge, passed away on May 15, 2020 at home with her family by her side in Old Bridge. She was born on September 24, 1942 to the late George and Clarie (Hession) Hefferon in Staten Island, NY. Gayle worked as an Office Manager for American Capitol Management before retiring. She and her husband Michael relocated to Old Bridge in 1993 and enjoyed many years of travel. Some of her favorite destinations included casinos such as Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and Aruba. She was preceded in death by father, George Hefferon, mother, Clarie Hefferon, son, Brain DeSantis, and sister, Judy Hefferon. Gayle is survived by her loving spouse of 37 years, Michael DeSantis, three daughters, Deborah Foote and husband Russell, Donna Renson-Liquori and husband Mario, Lori Howell and husband Jason; and five beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Joseph, Matthew, Nicholas, Ryan-Alexa. A private family gathering and prayer service will be held. Cremation will follow with entombment in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Old Bridge Funeral Home, Old Bridge, NJ. Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior, www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
