Faye’s Obituary Mrs. Faye Midgette Edwards, age 72, a resident of Chocowinity, passed away Friday May 30, 2020 at her home. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday June 1, 2020 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be conducted by Pastor Joe Ange. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Edwards was born June 14, 1947 in Beaufort County to the late Leslie Gray Midgette and Docia Ann Carawan. On November 5, 1966 she married Charlie Elwood Edwards who survives. She attended Chocowinity High School, was secretary at Edwards Machine and Welding in Chocowinity and was a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of the home Charlie E. Edwards, three sons, Donnie Edwards, Charlie Edwards, Timmy Edwards, two brothers, John Thomas Midgette of Petersburg, VA, Leslie Junior Midgette of Kitty Hawk, two sisters, Elsie Gray Austin and Mary Elizabeth Jordan both of Grandy, VA, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
