Darrell’s Obituary Darrell Wade Norris, was born September 19, 1962 in Houston, Missouri and departed this life May 30, 2020, in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of fifty-seven years. On August 15, 1982, Darrell was united in marriage with Laura Shapley in Salem, Missouri. Darrell was an EMT for Cox Hospital since 2006. He also worked for the Lebanon Fire Department for eighteen years. He treasured the friendships with his work family. He was loved and well respected. Although he worked hard, Darrell also enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved eating and visiting with his breakfast crew. However, nothing compared to the time spent and laughter shared with his family. Darrell is survived by his wife, Laura; two sons, Ryan Norris and his wife Kristy of Marshfield, MO and Jordan Duncan and his wife Jennifer of Red Oak, TX; one daughter, Destiny Linn Norris of Lebanon, MO; two brothers, Joe Norris and his wife Mary Ann of Eufala, OK; Michael William Norris of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Ruth Isabella, Augusts Wade, and Avery Kay; best friend Steve Shultz; beloved dog Tanner; one uncle; three aunts; several nieces, nephews and cousins; great-niece, Riley Crowe; other relatives and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Joseph and Dorothy Alice (Bacon) Norris; three brothers, James Eugene Norris, Carl Wayne Norris and Ronnie Lee Norris Following the funeral service, Darrell is to be cremated under direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
