Obituary Dana Lynn Strickland, age 74 of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020. She was born March 15, 1946 in Etowah County, Alabama, the daughter of the late W. A. Heaton and the late Mildred Pearson Heaton. She was retired from Walmart with sixteen years of service, and was a member of Central UMC in Gadsden, Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Strickland, and a brother, Donald Lewis Heaton. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy & Matt Griffin of Foley, Alabama; sister, Jan Heaton Rich of Cartersville, Georgia; and three grandchildren: Codie Griffin, Kirsten Griffin, and Zach Griffin, all of Foley, Alabama. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, May 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Anthony Puckett officiating.
