Cindy spent her life enjoying everything the world could giver her. Moving from Modesto to the northern California coast in the early ‘90s, it was safe to say the Eel River Valley was her home. Some of her favorite things to do in life were spend time at the beach and find anything to do that required her to be outside in the sun whether it was gardening, yard work, or just because she felt like being outside. Cindy always had a heart that lead her to help where she felt she could. She spent several years working in an animal shelter, and also tried to do what she could for kids while working for CASA. Anybody who knew Cindy at all was well aware of her biggest trait, her personality! You never knew that so much could fit in such a small package. Her amazing attitude, smile, and willingness to stare anything in life down was un-matched. It didn’t matter what life threw her way, she would never back down, never quit, and would even laugh in the face of adversity. Cindy never wanted anybody to worry about her and fought many battles unbeknownst to most. Cindy was a survivor of very aggressive breast cancer early in her life, given a small margin for victory, her warrior spirit and drive to beat anything in her way, she overcame the odds. This would not be the last time unfortunately that she had to put up this fight, but again, she emerged the champion. Because of her unwillingness to give in to anything that challenged her, she had reached the greatest pinnacle of her life. She became a grandmother of four, the greatest loves of her life, her grandchildren Preslie, Degan, Teegan, and Gemma loved there grandma Cindy so much! The apples of her eye, her happiest times by far were spending time with them doing arts and crafts and watching them grow, learn, play, and begin to reflect some of her amazing traits. Cindy leaves behind her son, and the father of her amazing grandkids, Robert Miller, wife Amber Miller, her youngest son Trevor Miller, wife Ashley Miller, her niece Emily Owens, and her mother, Myla Dunne. She now joins her late sister Cathi Owens, their father Bob (Robert) Dunne, and her late husband Ralph Miller. She was a part of so many more lives than what can be listed here, and every single one of them will agree that she will be missed and thought of every single day! Because of the current pandemic the family will be waiting until it is safe for everyone before they hold a memorial service. Thank you to everyone for all the love and well wishes you have shared with our family during these trying times Grandma Cindy is shining down on every single one of you! Print Obituary
