Carol’s Obituary Carol Jean (Adams) Easterling, 79, of Ironton, passed away peacefully at her residence. Mrs. Easterling was born July 11, 1940 to the late Orville and Mary Ellen (Bryant) Adams. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Easterling whom she married August of 1958. Carol was a graduate of Rock Hill and Ohio University and she worked at 1st Federal Savings and Loan Bank as an accountant and retired from City of Ironton finance department. She enjoyed playing the piano, walking, and outdoor activities. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: four sisters: Betty Mullins, Mary Lou Adams, Joyce (Glenn) Shope and Virginia Adams four brothers: Clarence Adams, Lester Adams, James Adams, and John Adams In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by: a daughter: Rayanna Jean Easterling of Porstmouth grandchildren: Adrianna Adkins, Cassie (James) Williams, David Adkins a sister: Gladys (Paul) McClaskey of Ironton two brothers: Danny Joe (Libby) Adams of Ironton and Alford (Janet) Adams of Titusville, Florida sister in-law: Glory Adams of Melbourne, Florida Graveside service will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m.at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point with Pastor Chad Pemberton officiating.
