Obituary Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Morgan Jackson, age 86, will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 31, 2020 in the Boiling Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Barbara Nelson officiating. Mrs. Jackson was born on November 10, 1933. She graduated from Brewton High School in 1950. She worked for Southern Bell in both the Macon and Atlanta offices and retired from Superior Laundry. She was a member of Boiling Springs Methodist Church, where she was an Adult Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her flower garden. Betty is preceded in death by her parents Frank Morgan and Doretha Waller Morgan, brothers Jack Morgan and Paul Morgan, and infant son Sammy Jackson. Mrs. Jackson passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Stokes Jackson of East Dublin, four children Joan Jackson Holmes of East Dublin, Stan (Ronda) Jackson of Camilla, Jan Jackson of Dublin, and Beth (Dee) Wicker of East Dublin, two brothers Jerry (Donna) Morgan and Deryle (Elaine) Morgan, one sister in law Carolyn Morgan, grandchildren Alicia (Derrick) Thigpen, Morgan (Jay) Thomas, Hillary (Clint) Edmondson, Heather Stewart, Kaley (Justin) Adams, Brooke Jackson and 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boiling Springs United Methodist Church Sunday School Fund.
