Bashara’s Obituary Bashara Khalil Sardy, of Novi, Unexpectedly passed away peacefully on Monday May 25, 2020. He was 75. He was born in Tyre, Lebanon May 30, 1944 to the late Helen and Khalil Sardy. He spent the last 50 years in Michigan, he was also living in both California and Iraq for a few years in between. His heart was always in Lebanon where he visited his family over the years. Bashara worked as a Realtor for many years. He was a Translator for the US government in Iraq for 3 years. In his retirement he enjoyed working as a crossing guard for the city of Novi. He was also extremely artistic and poetic. He was survived by his sibling Salim (Laurice) Sardy, Marie (late Milad) Farah, Yvonne (late Gibran) Nasr, late George (Elaine) Sardy, Sister Stephanie, Youssef (Therese) Sardy, and Ghoussoun (late Joseph) Sardy. Godson Jeffrey Sardy, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
