Barbara’s Obituary BARBARA DELLALA BECKNER, 85, of Modoc, Illinois, passed away at 5:00 pm, Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, Missouri. She was born to the late John and Velma (nee Heads) Null on June 25, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri. Barbara was of Christian Faith, a homemaker and a strong independent woman. She was an animal lover, taking in several strays throughout her life. Barb was a great storyteller who could sit and talk for hours. She loved reading, painting, gardening, and being with her children and grandchildren. She took great pride in dressing up, always wearing makeup and jewelry wherever she went. Though Barbara will be deeply missed, many beautiful memories of her will live on in the hearts of her family. Survivors: 3 Children: Toni Scarangello Larry (Melisa) Beckner Terry Beckner 1 Sister: Delores Turner 7 Grandchildren: Kris (Michelle) Lowry, Sean Scarangello, Raina (Jeff) Taylor, Nathan Beckner, Josie Beckner, Jeremey Beckner and Josh Dycus 4 Great Grandchildren: Aiden Lowry, Liam Lowry, Mason Taylor and Aubrey Taylor Preceded in Death by: Parents, 1 Brother – William Null and 2 Sisters – Vivian Null and Doris Zigler It was Barbara’s wish to be cremated.
