Anne M. Major ( nee McLaughlin ) died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the age of 61. Anne was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Jackson Heights into her teens. She moved to Old Bridge, NJ where she graduated from Old Bridge High School, from there she went on to attend Middle County College. Anne worked for over 30 years at the Northeast Carpenter’s Fund before retiring in November, 2019. Anne made many friends at her job. Anne enjoyed spending time with her husband, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews at family gathering . Anne loved to read, going on cruises and spending time at the family bungalow in Catskill, NY. Anne leaves us to join her parents Mary and Michael in heaven. Anne is survived by her husband, Dennis, brothers Patrick McLaughlin and his wife Trish, Michael McLaughlin and his wife Una, sisters Margaret McLaughlin, Carol McLaughlin, Eileen Simmonds and her husband James. Anne will be truly missed by her nieces, nephews, Grand nieces, Grand nephews, cousins and friends. Anne will be remember by her family in private services and laid to rest with her family in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Old Bridge Funeral Home.
