Terry L. Wright Sr., 79, of Springville, Indiana passed away peacefully Monday, April 19, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. Terry was born on September 17, 1940 in Harrodsburg, Indiana the son of Otis E. and Forrest E. (Crum) Wright. He was a 1958 graduate of University High School, and also attended Smithville High School. Terry worked at Indiana University as a painter in the physical plant for 36 years, retiring in 1995. He had served in the US Army Reserve and was a member of the Cruisin Classic Car Club of Bloomington. Terry enjoyed coin hunting, going to races, and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed baseball, especially “The Reds”, IU Sports, antique cars, and fishing. He was a collector of things like Tobacco Tins, coins and knives. He loved life and spending time with family and friends. Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed. Terry is survived by his wife, Rosalee “Rose” Wright of Springville; daughter, Debbie Hostetler of Bedford; son, Terry L. Wright Jr. (Beth) of Bedford; four grandchildren, Amber Bartlett (John), Cole Wright, Cailen Wright, Delanie Wright; great granddaughter, Tracey Jo Porter; two brothers, Kirby Wright of Bloomington and Kenny Wright of Harrodsburg; he is also survived by two step children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Shirley K. (Webb) Wright. A private graveside service for the family will be held at the Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, Indiana. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorial contributions to be made to the Riley Children’s Hospital or the National Kidney Foundation.
