Obituary Ruby L. Mitchell Walker, age 63 of Carrollton, passed away April 29, 2020. She was born January 25, 1957 in Heard County, Georgia, daughter to the late Herman Mitchell and Jewell Mildred Powell Pate. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Faye Arrington; and two brothers, Odis Mitchell and Ralph Mitchell. She is survived by her son, Joshua Mark “Josh” Ray of Decatur; her daughter, Leah Renee Lawson of Carrollton; two brothers, Virgil “Buddy” Mitchell of Greenville, AL, and Daniel Mitchell of Easly, SC; and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Heard County with Bro. David Gray and Cousin Pegjean Evans officiating.
