Obituary Pamela Ladell Davis – Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, Believer are just a few words that describe our beloved Pam who was born November 11, 1957 in Albemarle, Stanly County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Clyde Albert Davis and the late Beulah Ann Colston Davis. Words cannot express the profound sadness and heartache that our family and friends are experiencing since Pam’s death on Thursday, April 9, 2020. We are blessed beyond measure to have shared wonderful memories and the ray of sunshine Pam brought into the lives of individuals she touched. Her kind deeds, generosity and love of mankind will remain in our hearts forever. Pam was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated in the Class of 1975 from Albemarle Senior High School. She was employed as a case manager with the City of New York, New York. After residing in New York for over thirty-eight years, she recently relocated to North Carolina. Pam enjoyed attending many of the churches in the Greater Stanly County community. While in New York she was affiliated with Brooklyn Miracle Church. She enjoyed and loved her family dearly. She treated her sister Paula’s children as her own. Kenji, Kenton, Kelsie, Kendal, Kenya, Kia and Kendric were the ‘apples of Auntie Pam’s eye’. She was an astute shopper and could always find a great bargain. But most of all Pam was loving and kind not just to her family but to others. Pam has joined her mother, Beulah; brother, Irish Ronae Davis; and sister, Claudia Davis in a place that has been said to be perfect and beautiful in every way. We thank Our Lord and Creator for Pam’s life. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. Survivors are her father, Clyde Albert Davis, Albemarle; sisters: Paula (Artis) Sellers, Tanya (Anthony) Harris, and Kim (Fernando) Ponds, all of Albemarle; brothers: Dwight “Marcell” Davis, David “Todd” Davis, Marlon Davis, all of Albemarle and Albert Timothy Davis, Mt. Jackson, Virginia; nieces, nephews, other relatives; special New York friends: Richard, Roc, Michael, Annette and Antonia; childhood friend, Elaine Phifer Scott; and many others too numerous to name.
