Michael Scott Hull, 38, of Smithsburg, MD passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born October 18, 1981 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Dennis and Teresa Hull of Great Cacapon, WV and the late Sandra Hull of Hagerstown, MD. He graduated from Martinsburg High School. Michael went to culinary school and worked as a cook for various restaurants. Michael was an avid outdoorsman, He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was passionate about cooking and creating new dishes. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter, who was the light of his life. Michael was a big hearted, compassionate, loving guy. He always put others before himself. He had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh. His family and friends were most important to him. Surviving him are his daughter, Michaela Jean Hull of Smithsburg, his sisters Kathy Dunsworth of Smithsburg, Sandy Lou Hull-Bannon of Virginia Beach, Va, and Shannon Hull of Hagerstown, brothers Dennis Wolfe of Hagerstown and Matt Bell of Georgia, many nieces and nephews and cousins, with whom he was very close to. In addition to his mother, Sandra, he was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Hull, and a sister Deloris Rippeon. Services and interment private at the convenience of Michael’s family.
