Leonard D. Johnson, age 94, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Signature Healthcare of Elizabethton. He was the son of the late Alfred and Matilda Johnson. Leonard like to craft animals and different objects out of seashells and mowing his yard. He was of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in passing by several brothers and sisters. Those left to carry on his loving memory include; his wife, Mary Johnson; daughter, Peggy Hathaway and Larry; son Gary Johnson, all of Elizabethton; granddaughter, Shana Price; grandson, Jody Hathaway; great grandsons, Clayton Burton and Jimmy Hathaway; great granddaughters, Amanda Hathaway and Samantha Hathaway. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2020 at the Johnson Family Cemetery.
