Joseph Broxmeyer III June 03, 1935 – April 22, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Joseph Broxmeyer III (June 3, 1935 – April 22, 2020) Joseph Broxmeyer III, 84, of Edison, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Hackensack Meridian (formally JFK) hospital. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he resided between Raritan Twp. (Edison) and Metuchen, NJ for most of his life. He attended grammar school for 8 years in Edison and graduated from Perth Amboy Vocational School. After, he served in the United States Army in Fort Dix, NJ and also in Germany (1953-1955 & 1957-1959). He then worked as a journeyman for Electrical Union I.B.EB. Local #358, out of Perth Amboy for 35 years and a member for more than 50 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Jones) Broxmeyer, who passed in 1994, his father Joseph Broxmeyer II, his mother Elizabeth Broxmeyer, and sisters, Nancy and Janet. Surviving are his only daughter, Susanne (Broxmeyer) Bilgraw, Son-in-law, Douglas Bilgraw, and his two grandsons, Noah and Leo.
