Mrs. Joan Mary DeNeille, age 92, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020, at her home, under the loving care and comfort of her family and Hospice Compassus. Private graveside services will be Tuesday at Willow Mount Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. She was born October 4, 1927, in Nashville, to the late Joseph Henry and Mary M. Boulie Feldhaus, Sr. She was a retired registered nurse from the St. Charles County Health Department in St. Louis, Missouri. Joan was huge Saint Louis Cardinals’ fan, and a faithful member of St. Williams Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence “Larry” DeNeille, in 1998; and two brothers, Dr. Henry Feldhaus, Jr. and William “Bill” Feldhaus. Survivors include her sisters, Marion Feldhaus and Catherine Hammond, both of Shelbyville; Pat Horne, and her husband Don, and a sister in law, Marie Feldhaus, all of Nashville; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; and her four legged faithful companion “Gidget”.
