Frank Ray’s Obituary Frank Ray Brown, age 76, went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born September 16, 1943 in Mexico, Missouri. He graduated from High School in Mexico, Missouri and enlisted in the Navy until he retired. We called him “Uncle Grizz” he was a Veteran of the Navy and was very proud to serve his country. He loved photography, to go hunting and fishing. He enjoyed living in Tucson, Arizona, where he lived most of his life after serving in the military. He would always say the mountains made him feel at peace. He also enjoyed collecting comic books and baseball cards sort of a past time he would say and he loved to joke around and be silly. He was extremely intelligent and had a wonderful knack for solving problems. He loved his family and friends. He is survived by his brother, G.R. Brown, his niece, Pamela Brown Hapney and his great niece Kat Rae Hapney. Preceding his in death, his father, Frank Brown, his mother, Betty Dean Brown, his Brothers William Brown, Kenneth Brown, Sister, Judith Brown Jones. Uncle Grizz will be greatly missed. He will be buried at Ft. Sam, he will be buried by Vinyard Funeral Home. We will honor him by having a memorial with family members in celebrating his life. Read More
