Erich’s Obituary Erich Paul Wutsch, age 76 of Iroquois, SD, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the Huron Regional Medical Center. His memorial service and burial at the Maplewood Cemetery in Iroquois, SD will be held at a later date. Erich Paul Wutsch, the son of Joseph and Eleanor Wutsch, was born on January 5,1944 in Iroquois, SD. Erich attended school and graduated from Iroquois High School. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy, where he served for 4 yrs. While in the Navy he traveled to many countries & was off the coast of Vietnam. After his 4 years were up, he came back to Iroquois, S.D. to help Conrad with the family farm. Erich was a member of the American Legion, he took a course in conservation & law, he enjoyed Baseball, and at one time raise a few pigeons. Erich is survived by his brothers and sisters, Ed (DeAnn) Wutsch of Leesburg, Fla., Conrad & Esther Wutsch of Iroquois, S.D., Elaine (Hank) Roi of Sarasota, Fla., Betty (Al Sr. & Nicholas) Rollison of Lake City Fla., Ellen(Russell) Carter of Pierre, SD; sister-in-law Diane Wutsch Clark of Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Erich was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Joseph Wutsch and infant son; his brother Wayne and Uncle John. Read More
