A Private family graveside service will be held for Dorothy Virginia Wilbanks, 62 of Walnut. Dorothy was born June 10, 1957 in Ripley, MS and passed away from this life on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Dorothy is survived by her son, Daniel Wilbanks and wife Kristy of Walnut; daughters, Amanda Humbers of Walnut and Melanie Wilbanks of Ashland; 6 grandchildren, Savannah Humbers, Bradie Humbers, Jaxon Todd, James Wilbanks, Jacob Wilbanks and Shelby Wilbanks; a brother, James Whitehead and wife Zina of Faulkner, MS; sisters, Sandra Mercer and Brenda Burnett both of Walnut and Bonnie McAlpin and husband Tim of Grand Junction, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Walden Marlin Whitehead; mother, Doralee Virgina Hopkins Whitehead; brother, Rickey Dewayne Whitehead and sister, Kathy Waldrop. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Todd, Keith Cooper, Austin Cooper, Gary Humbers, Brent Newman and Jimmy Mercer. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, James Wilbanks, Jacob Wilbanks, Bradie Humbers and Jaxon Todd. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Dorothy Wilbanks.
