Obituary Dalton Wayne Baggs, Jr., affectionately known by all as “Junior”, 52, of Pickens, entered his heavenly home on April 16, 2020. The son of Dalton Wayne Sr. and Edna Ruth (Anderson) Baggs, Junior was born on April 8, 1968, in Melber, Kentucky. He graduated from Battiest High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Hungry Horse Environmental. Junior was a hard worker and enjoyed working around his home and helping out family and friends. He loved his family dearly and was especially close to his cousins and niece. Junior was an avid OU Sooner fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, searching for arrowheads and collecting rocks. He liked listening to music and was a member of the Pickens Free Holiness Church. Junior was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Altha Baggs; maternal grandparents, Chester and Eva Anderson; special cousins, Lajuanna Engler and Terra Thompson. He was survived by his parents, Wayne and Edna Baggs, of Pickens; brother, Kevin Baggs and his wife, Kimberly, Westville, OK; niece, Cara Baggs of Westville, OK; great-nephews, Jesse and Jacob Baggs, both of Westville, OK; special cousins, Brent Hays and Christy Chandler both of Pickens; many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the County Line Cemetery. Bro. Olin Vaughn will officiate. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, at the Pickens Holiness Church.
