Charly’s Obituary Charly Chan Taylor he passed away April 8, 2020 at Solder’s Home in Holyoke, Ma. Corporal Charlie Chan Taylor was born on March 4, 1928 to the late Wash Taylor and Lovinia Roundtree in Peach County Georgia. He was a hard-working man who began working at the age of 12 he held down several small jobs to help his family. H was also a full-time student and graduated. Charlie then went on to join the US Army and was honorably discharged with four medals of honor. He believed a man’s job was to take care of his family and he did just that. He worked (three) jobs daily to make ends meet. The highlight of his career was caddying as he was irreplaceable to his clients. They loved him and valued his expertise. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Sandra Taylor he left behind to daughters Elizabeth and Theresa Taylor of Springfield, Ma and with a son Charles Dugan of East Hartford, Connecticut. Along, with six grandchildren Jameasea, DeWayne, Marlon, and Nene Taylor including Tamara Grant of Springfield, Ma; last but not least Natalie Dugan of East Hartford, Connecticut. A total of 18 (eighteen) grandchildren and 12 (twelve) great, great-grandchildren. He also left behind a very special friend Carmen Malone and two best friends Darlene Miller and Barbara Robinson of Springfield, Massachusetts. Read More
