Charlotte “Cha Cha”‘s Obituary Mary Charlotte “Cha Cha” Bartlett, 93, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin, Texas. Cha Cha was born in Pampa, Texas on November 27, 1926 to John Robert McKinley and Cleo Bryant McKinley. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend to everyone. She was everyone’s Cha Cha. She loved to play Bridge and enjoyed her weekly visits with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Cleo McKinley; her husband, Henry W. Bartlett, Sr.; daughter, Laura Jane Bartlett; brothers, Bob McKinley and Tom McKinley; and sisters, Anny Myers, Mona Tyndell, and Kay Nichols. She is survived by her sons, John Bartlett of Hemphill and Henry Bartlett, Jr. and wife, Penny, of Paducah; sister, Nell Rivers and husband, Earl, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren, April Lyle and husband, Steve, of Houston, Henry Bartlett III of Atlanta, Georgia, Chris Bartlett of Atlanta, Belynda Cook and husband, Reagan, of Lubbock, Bobby Hinkle of Lubbock, and Kimberly Gentry and husband, Nicky of Idalou, Texas; 14 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Isaac Low Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Richardson officiating.
