Carol’s Obituary Carol Ann Messerli, 76 of Shell, Wyoming passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, April 23, 2020. Carol was born December 18, 1943 in Vancouver, Washington to Quincy and Mary (Couser) Sinclair. Her father worked in the shipyards and the family eventually moved to Baker, Montana. Carol graduated from Baker High School. After High School she married John Krook. There were two children born to this union, David and Correna. Carol eventually moved to Billings, Montana where she got a job working for the State of Montana Job Services. She met Terry Messerli over coffee as they worked across the street from each other. Carol and Terry were married in 1979 at his parent’s ranch in Shell. Carol enjoyed rug hooking and the spinning of wool. The couple had a motorhome and enjoyed touring several states. They also met some dear friends on a special trip to Branson, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Dorothy Marchand, Gladys Rubel and brothers, Harold and James Sinclair. She is survived by Terry Messerli of Shell, Wyoming; children, David (Corrie) Krook; Correna (Steve) Gender both of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Lloyd Sinclair and Rodger (Donna) Sinclair both of Washington state; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the Whaley Cemetery. We will be allowing up to 10 family members and friends around the graveside. We would ask that the remaining attendees stay spread apart, at afar. We will bring our PA systems to aid in hearing the service. Thank-you for understanding during this difficult time.
