Bradley’s Obituary Bradley Nate Ortegon was born March 29, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas and passed away March 29, 2020. Viewing will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Thursday from 1:00-5:00 PM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Bradley was born to Taylor Ruiz and Nathan Ortegon. Bradley was diagnosed at 14 weeks gestation with having CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) and six different heart defects. Mommy, Taylor, made the decision to continue with the pregnancy. Mommy states that “he was always very active, kicking and punching and a little fighter to the very end”. Bradley was a curly, black hair, chubby cheeks precious angel. “He will forever be in our hearts”. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Taylor Ruiz and Nathan Ortegon both of Hereford; two brothers Bentley and Lincoln Ortegon of Hereford; his maternal grandparents John and Cynthia Rickman of Hereford and Christopher Craig of Canyon; his paternal grandparents are Baldemar Ortegon of Edinburg, Texas and Diana Vallejo of Hereford; maternal great grandparents Carlos Ruiz, Martha Rickman and Jesse and Robin Mickler all of Hereford and Bryan and Carmen Craig of Clovis, NM.; paternal great grandparents Pedro Ortegon of Edinburg, Texas and Daniel and Josefita Vallejo of Weslaco, Texas; maternal great-great grandparents Erma and LeRoy Rickman and Rachel Henslee all of Hereford; uncles and aunts Tiffany and Karston Outman of Canyon; Tessa and Tristyn Rickman of Hereford; Arianna, Gabe and Aynsley Craig of Canyon; Baldemar Ortegon of Portales, NM; Joseph, Marcus and Daniel Ortegon all of Hereford and three cousins Paizley Outman of Canyon and Brysen and Nicole Ortegon of Portales, NM. Bradley is preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Lilia Ruiz, maternal great grandfather Johnny Rickman a great uncle Ricky Ruiz and a cousin Mia Ortegon.
