Billy’s Obituary William Foster “Billy” Cook age 81 passed away April 8, 2020. Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Cook was a native and of Sparta but had made his home in Milledgeville. He was a retired from the United States Navy serving as a flight deck mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents Ossie Cook and Mary Anderson Cook, a son Doug Cook, siblings Johnny Cook, Lavenia Cook Key and Edward Cook. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Martha Quinn Cook of Milledgeville, two daughters Deborah Cook of Milledgeville and Dianne Lyon of Evans, three sisters Sadie Cook Boyer, Gloria Cook Edwards and Joyce Cook Stanton, two grandchildren Alex Lyon and Andrew Lyon.
