Betty’s Obituary Betty “Memaw” Davidson passed away early Tuesday morning, April 14, 2020 in her home, surrounded by family. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 11am-4:30pm (following COVID-19 guidelines) at Groesbeck Funeral Home. Betty will be laid to rest beside her husband on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Houston National Cemetery. Betty was born November 13, 1953 in Houston, TX to parents William and Alma Bailey where she resided until she married her loving husband, Kenneth Davidson Sr. in 1971. The two eventually moved to Bryan, TX where they had their two children. They enjoyed working together driving school buses for Bryan ISD, but mostly enjoyed traveling the US in their 18-wheeler. After her husband’s passing, Betty loved spending her time driving buses for White Oak ISD and taking care of her grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents William and Alma Bailey, brother Bill Bailey, and husband Kenneth Davidson Sr. She is survived by her son Kenneth Davidson Jr. and wife Detra; daughter Brittany Marshall and husband Jarron; grandkids, Destanie and fiancé Nolan, Trey, Jaidyn, Clayton, and Braylen; sister, Debra Elliott; brother, Bob Bailey; and many nieces and nephews.
