Walter is survived by his wife Catherine (Brandt) Bissen of Dunlap, Iowa; nine children, Eugene Bissen of Defiance, Iowa, Gary (Jane) Bissen of Earling, Iowa, Geralyn “Geri” (Mike) Anderson of Dunlap, Iowa, Myron (Patti) Bissen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Twyla (Del) Matheny of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Helen (Terry) Wolters of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Richard (Lisa) Bissen of Keller, Texas, Kevin Bissen of Harlan, Iowa and Karen Bissen of Harlan, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; six step grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
