Raymond Joseph Gabner, age 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at his home in Newnan, surrounded by family. He was born in Buffalo, NY on August 25, 1947 to the lateJoseph Gabner and Arlene Vickery Gabner. Along with his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Gabner. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Maureen Gearin Gabner; children, Dawn Head and her husbandTommy, Kelly Thomas and her husband David, Timothy Gabner and his wife Kerri; grandchildren, Brittany Carroll, Brandon Carroll, Ava Gabner, Olivia Gabner, Holden Thomas, Evie Thomas and great grandchild Raegan Wortham. He is also survived by his brothers,Robin Gabner and his wife Barbara, Joe Gabner and his wife Jean. The funeral mass celebrating Raymond’s life is Friday, March 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. George Catholic Church, 771 Roscoe Road, in Newnan with Father Henry Atem officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Raymond’s name to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
