Nancy’s Obituary Age 83, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born January 30, 1937 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Clyde L. and Auderine (Fischer) Rogers. On November 28, 1970, she married Hugh Caincross and following 44 loving years of marriage, he preceded her in death December 7, 2014. Nancy was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Ypsilanti. She loved crocheting, baking and family gatherings. Nancy especially loved going to the “cabin up north.” Survivors include: three children, Randy (Samantha) Caincross, Kim Willman and Aaron (Kari) Caincross; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, John (Pam) and David (Karen) Rogers; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dan Rogers and one sister Bonnie Gregory. The family will receive friends from 12 noon – 2:30 pm Friday, March 27, 2020 at Stark Funeral Service. A private graveside burial will take place in Highland Cemetery. Read More
