Larry’s Obituary Larry Dorle passed from this life on Thursday March 12th 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 65 years old. Though absent in body, his soul will continue to live on. Memorial Services to celebrate Larry’s life have been POSTPONED. Services will be rescheduled at a later date to respectfully allow all members of the community to safely attend. Larry lived and worked most of his life in and around Cushing. He worked on many different oil leases, pulling casing from the holes on a pulling unit. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, his most recent adventures included many different cruises to many parts of the world. St. Marten was one of his favorite places he had visited, but said the Alaskan cruise he took was the trip of a life time. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and had a new found love for his chicken coop, and a special love for his new jack Russell dog “Jessie.” Larry was proceeded in death by: His father and mother, Raymond Dorle and Ruth Dorle, His sister Geniva Freeman, and his brother Mark Dorle. Larry is survived by his children: Larry Wayne Dorle Jr. and wife Jennifer, Charlotte Dorle and Lonnie Morris of Drumright, Michael Dorle and wife Vanessa of Cushing, Cheri and Dustin Ladd of Cushing, and Bradley and Christine Dorle of Tulsa, brothers Gene Dorle of Cushing, Don Dorle of Cushing, sisters Diane Gastelun of Glencoe, Janet Dorle of Cushing, Jackie Ann Lann of Ada, Connie Norvell of Stillwater. Grandchildren include: Wilson, Jessie, Bryce, and Lawson Dorle, Heather and Whitney Morris, Olivia and Owen Dorle, Brandon and Brooklyn Hollabaugh, and Beau Ladd. He also has 4 great grandchildren.
