Kathleen’s Obituary Kathleen Brawley, 70, passed from this life to life eternal on March 18, 2020 in an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born March 24, 1949 in Gilroy, California, the daughter of the late Richard William and Mary Kathrine Owens Kannely. She attended St. Mary Catholic School in Gilroy, and graduated from Gilroy High School class of 1967. She attended Gavilon College and wrote for the school newspaper. She married Roger Dale Brawley on December 30, 1967 in Tres Pinos, California. They moved to the Lone Grove area in 1978. Roger preceded her in death on June 25, 1987. Her sister Barb Kannely Stites also preceded her in death. Kathleen worked in retail all of her life. She worked at the Video Barn, Bean’s Western Wear and J.C. Penney’s and Henry Roberts Express Pharmacy. She enjoyed art. Survivors include her daughter Shannon Ellis and husband Chad of Ardmore; son Eric Brawley and wife Patty of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Deric, Jacob, and Logan Brawley; Madison, Gracie and Pate Ellis; and her sisters, Mary Ann Puente, Diane Kannely, Eloise Kannely, Eileen Stillwell, and Colleen Newton. The family will gather Tuesday, March 24, 2020, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home to celebrate her life.
