Obituary Dorothy Marie Kostielney January 15, 1928-March 1, 2020 Mishawaka-Dorothy Marie Kostielney, 92, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Waterford at Edison Lakes in Mishawaka. Dorothy was born on January 15, 1928 in South Bend to Louis and Wilhelmina (Dousi) Polman. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon Dudek; a son, Louis Kostielney; sister, Joan O’Connell and brothers, Louis Polman II and William “Bill” Polman. On May 4, 1957 at Little Flower Catholic Church she married Ernest Kostielney; he preceded her in death on March 30, 2018. Surviving are her children, Karen (Terry) Summers, Jerome “Jerry” (Margaret) Kostielney, Marilyn (John) Wuthrich, Sandy (Scott) Geisler and Martha (Tim) Darr; 20 grandchildren, Terry (Amanda), Kimberly (Tom), Mollie (Keith) Spencer, Louis (Katherine), Mary, Billy, Shannon (Zach), Derek, Marcus (Kerry), Myles, Mason, Ryan (Leigh), Riley (Erica), Chantel (Ike), Nick, Maggie, Joe, Brooke and Brandon and 11 great grandchildren, Kaley, Cheylee, Ashlee, Blake, Tyler, Jordan, Michael, Benjamin, Hayden, Addilyn and Macallister. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Matthews Cathedral in South Bend.
