Clark, a self-made contractor, affectionately known to his family and friends as “Papa Chuck”, passed away on March 19, 2020. He was 77 years old. Chuck is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl Clark; his children, Eddie Clark (Claudia), John Clark (Tracy), Jeff Clark, Thomas Fisher (Shelia), and Rob Fisher (Renee); his grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Justin, Hunter, Tommy, Cheyanne, Grayson, Austin; and expected great grandson, Theodore Clark. He was preceded in death by daughter, Amy Clark; parents C.W. Clark and E.B. Clark; and siblings, Carol, Shirley, Wayne, Kenneth, and Eunice. Born in Durham, NC, Chuck was a God-fearing faithful member of Temple Baptist Church. He shared his gifts of service and compassion with all, and was loved by anyone that knew him personally. His first loves after God were his wife and family. His hobbies and interests throughout life included, but were not limited to, hunting, running (marathon competitor), golf, motorcycle enthusiast, home renovating, Nascar and his unapologetic love for cats. **Due to circumstances surrounding the current national safety environment regarding the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) services will not be held at this time, but may be planned for a future date.
